How to record system audio
Install BlackHole — a free virtual audio driver. After installation, BlackHole will appear under the Other Input list. Simply select it to start recording system audio.
Can I record my webcam along with the screen?
Yes. Yfli Screen Recorder supports picture-in-picture webcam overlay. You can position and resize the webcam feed anywhere on your screen recording. Perfect for tutorials, presentations, and reaction videos.
How to record a specific area or window?
Open Yfli Screen Recorder and choose from three capture modes: Full Screen, Area Selection, or Window Capture. For area selection, drag to define the recording region. For window capture, click any open window to record only that window.
Where are my recordings saved?
By default, recordings are saved to your Mac's Movies folder. You can change the save location in Yfli Screen Recorder settings at any time.
How to schedule a recording?
Yfli Screen Recorder supports scheduled recording. Set a start time and duration — the recording will start and stop automatically. Perfect for webinars, live streams, and hands-free capture.
How to use annotation tools while recording?
During recording, use the annotation toolbar to draw arrows, shapes, and add text directly on your screen. Annotations are burned into the final recording — perfect for tutorials, presentations, and bug reports.
Can I pause and resume recording?
Yes. Yfli Screen Recorder supports pause and resume during recording. Press the pause button or use the keyboard shortcut to temporarily stop capturing, then resume when ready — all in a single video file.
